Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Nice location on the beach, rooms are very clean and staff attentive. A short walk leads to the main road, where the 7 Eleven Store provides all your needs. Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Hotel resort just next to a very big beach, but still quiet.Great view. We where there in peakseason and there was plenty of space.Very nice pool. Ok restaurant but breakfast wasn´t so good.Room was very rundown and was not cleaned very well.Friendly staff, not all english speaking.Close to a little town with shops and restaurants. Plenty of restaurants on the beach as well.Lots of fireworks and good luck lanterns new years eve and a large dinnerbuffet (have to pay for this when you book in peakseason)Good for family with children.No safe in the room, but values can be kept locked away in reception. Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: The hotel has a great location on a beautiful beach and is also fairly close to town. The rooms were fine for this price range and quite clean. The pool is great with nice pool-side chairs. They don t have much for beach chairs but it s nice to hang out by the pool. The restaurant has excellent food.

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Golden Bay was excellent in every way. The restaurant was excellent for lunch and dinner although breakfast was poor - we ate at the French coffee shop next door every morning. Staff were helpful and bfriendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was quiet and spotless and it was very convenient to have such an excellent beach in front of the resort. Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: I had a standard room and was very disappointed. The room was about 10 sq.m., the bathroom was very small, oo and shower in one, old and ugly. I asked for upgrading or changing the rom, but they told me they were full. They were not. Uninterested stuff. I went away after 1 night, of course i lost the money i paid. The more expensive rooms may be better, but sure are small compared with other resorts. Nice pool and quiet on the beach. Better rooms next door, same price. [PhuketPortalen.dk integr.ERR:escaping]

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: fantastic value for money. booked a deluxe bungalow which was large and clean. rooms facilities were as expected from the price paid. the bathroom however was much in need of renovation, fairly old and gaps in the floorboards attracted alot of mozzies at night. the grounds are beautifully maintained and it was very pleasant to spend our days around the pool (which was fantastic). the beach is somewhat disappointing, beautiful to look at but the water is fairly murky and at low tide (which is most of the day) leaves a layer of green and black slit on the sand. recommend visitors hire a motorbike (250 baht/day) to travel around, the resort itself is 200 metres from the main road but there s no footpath and gets very dark at night. staff are fantastic and friendly. booked tickets and motorbike thru hotel and it was same price as outside, no premium.

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: This was actually on Koh Lanta. It is a typical sit down and sunburn resort, populated mainly by older (Swedish) Europeans. Price was good for the facilities. Breakfast is typical Western type brekky, but they will custom cook your eggs and omelette. The hotel organised a taxi to Krabi without any fuss. If you want to be a little adventurous, walk out the 800m to the main road, and to the left are several restaurants which should all be cheaper than the resort - most menus have some (fractured) English on them. A good one is the first (I think) you come to - it appears to be family owned, and the younger couple there have a three year old son who is usually there evenings. They make an incredible fried rice! If you want to tour the island relatively cheaply, you should be able to hire a tuk tuk (we didn t have the time in only 2 days)- hire for a half day I would guess B500 as a reasonable price, and double this for a full day. This way you go where YOU want to go, and not the tour operator! [PhuketPortalen.dk integr.ERR:escaping]

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Stayed in Standard room which was very nice and clean. Hotel is right on the beach and has a very nice swimming pool. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place, if you want a quiet, relaxing stay.
