Forvaltningen af reservation: at reception they were going to give the last room to two other customers, although i had booked and paid the total of the ten nights i was to spend at Mountain view resort. that was because they were not notified of the transaction by sawasdee, i was told. after lenghty checking by phone; i got the only available room left.
Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: staff friendly during the stay, but big disappointment on leaving. I asked twice to two different people at reception if someone could give me a hand for carrying my bulky and heavy bag to the pier on check out morning. no problem, i was told to report at 6.40, but unfortunately when the moment came, no one was to be seen either at reception or around; i had to go fetch some jogger to help me. of course I had already paid for my stay in advance, so they probably didn t see the need to bother anymore. very disappointing. Forvaltningen af reservation: you should give more details about the location and the way to get to this resort,as it is not easy to get there
Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: we took the bus from the airport and it left us to the boat pier;we didn t know why and somebody explained to us that we had to take the longtail boat to go to the hotel;it s not easy to find and no breakfast service or cleaning the room.the room is nice,with fan and cold water.

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: location is excellent, but in fact this resort is at best a backpackers guest house, as it is very basic : no breakfast included, no electricity during day time, no soap, no hot water, only one sheet provided, and minimal welcome [PhuketPortalen.dk integr.ERR:escaping]

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Lovely location, air con rooms are on high ground, surrounded by trees and greenery. Very close to the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Horrible! We got there and left immediately. No sheets on the bed when we arrived. Tons of rules posted on the wall that you have to follow- such as no drinks in room other than water, you have to leave your room key at reception when you go exploring etc.. Tonsai was very dusty and extremely hot as you are in between the mountains and there is no breeze. Very sad to see a baby gibbon ape(mother likely murdered to get the baby) tied to a tree by a beach bar to draw the tourists in- baby was frantic looking for a mother or companion. Avoid taking pictures of these poor animals as it only promotes the owners to kill more. Overall, i would definitely not recommend this hotel or tonsai beach. [PhuketPortalen.dk integr.ERR:escaping]

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Clean, nice and comfortable. I really have nothing to remark on, the bungalow met my expactations. No big spiders or other scary insects gould get inside the bungalow, which happened a friend that lived at another resort nearby. All we got was company from a cute little gecko now and then, but it was no bother at all. [PhuketPortalen.dk integr.ERR:escaping]

Forvaltningen af reservation: The resort did not seem to know that we had booked with PhuketPortalen.dk.com but there was an available bungalow for us.
Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: We left our laundry with the resorts laundry service, we counted that there was 25 items and signed a confirmation for this but when we collected it, there was only 24 items, my girlfriends dress was missing. We asked reception and the laundry worker, even showing her a photo of my girlfriend wearing the dress and they said they didn t have it and asked me if it was in our room , then the receptionist went to check again and found it and that it hadn t been cleaned, we had to wait another day for it to be cleaned but when we got it back but had been completely ruined and we did not even receive an apology. Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Mountain View was clean and had friendly service. They offer laundry service and a safe deposit box which is really just a locker near the front desk. It s a bit on the expensive side, by Tonsai standards, but as one of the only places that will let you reserve ahead of time, it s a safe bet.

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Ton Sai and Railay are always so nice. This resort was pretty decent. Nice rooms, nice grounds. Only annoyances were that electricity only worked during 6PM - 7AM (only at night). Rooms too hot to stay during the day. This is a good thing - it forces you to get up early and go explore the peninsula. It is a hike from the bay - be prepared to sweat after you get off the longtail boat until you arrive at the resort. They do not have restaurant but there are plenty of nearby places for dining. I thought the price was a bit high for the lack of electricity, but this may be par for the course on Ton Sai.
