Andre bemrkninger om hotellet: It was a very nice hotel nice swimingpool nice beach too. in the web site it say that should be 3 restaurants it was 3 that is right but only on open. pool bar yes there was but closed???? Andre bemrkninger om hotellet: Though we were just one night, I think it was one of the best hotels we stayed in Thailand.The staff were very nice.The room was clean and very confortable.I highly recommend this hotel.

Andre bemrkninger om hotellet: Great hotel with friendly staff, I stayed in the 2 bedroom villa with great sea views, just 5 steps and we were on the beach.No internet in the rooms you need to go to reception, it is a free connection, but good improvement point could be to have this in all rooms.Lots to do outside the hotel with day trips, the money spent on those can add up fast so allow for this in your budgets, good local eating places within walking distance of the hotel, and very good high end eating a short and cheap taxi drive away [PhuketPortalen.dk integr.ERR:escaping]

Andre bemrkninger om hotellet: Excellent.3rd stay at Samui Palm Beech Resort.Will stay again in 2011 and will reccomend to family and friends.We stayed first time in 1989.Same room type each year which was excellent.Staff at Reception, Housekeeping,Garden,Breakfast and Restaurant were excellent and friendly and helpful.Please say thanks to them.Samui Palm Beech was our first placeof stay in Thailand in 2010 and we hope to do the same in 2011 same dates. Andre bemrkninger om hotellet: We stayed here now and also 6 years ago. We really like this resort. The villa was well kept, clean and nice. Friendly staff, excellent service. Lovely breakfast area. The fitness area lacked air condition.

Andre bemrkninger om hotellet: BEAUTIFUL RESORT!!! Everything is excellent. We stayed in beachfront villa A01 which is right on the beach, it has private beach beds. The villa is not the best quality, not the brand new furniture but the location and facilities compensate it pretty much. We had small and kids swimming poools right beside our villa which was great as we travelled with 4y.o. son and he was thrilled with the faciliies, huge chess. Th food in restaurants is quite god but we dined mostly in the city on Chaweng beach. The hotel is very peaceful and green. I wish there could be more facilities for kids like playground or at least playroom with toys like in Peace hotel nearby. Also they lack kids channel on TV so we had to buy some cartoons and play them on our DVD player. The staff is friendly and nice. We liked BoPhut beach since it is not that noisy as Chaweng and still not far from shops and Chaweng.We have no complaints about this hotel, only some recommendations for improvements - more kids amusements, at least kids channel, as most people travel with kids. Andre bemrkninger om hotellet: The hotel is superb with 3 pools and a variety of excellent accommodation, we had a beach / pool view bungalow absolutely perfect. Location on a busy road main entrance with a few bars and resturaunts pen at night. Right at the beach side where there are plenty of other bars and eating places away from traffic noise. Well worth a 10 minute walk along beach to Fishermans village great for an evening drink and meal. You don t have to pay resturaunt prices, there are local places with wonderful food all on sea front. The whole holiday was an experience my wife and I will never forget. More modern additions (apartment style) have subsequently been made.The Accommodation and location were fine, but communal areas can best be described by the phrase faded elegance and are in need of some renovation.The only negative would be the attitude of Restaurant staff particularly at breakfast. The service was disorganised and unfriendly. This is not what one comes to expect in Thailand and gives a negative impression on an otherwise great stay. Forvaltningen af reservation: Very fast response time from Sawasdee. My only request is that the website offers an option to have other hotels recommended if the one that is chosen is not available. We opted for that but was never send the other options. When we tried several other hotels, we got a response immediately.
Andre bemrkninger om hotellet: The hotel is overpriced for the quality of the rooms, the service and the restaurant. This is a good place for kids and families who don t care too much about the details or are not used to what Thai design and service can and should be like. I have been to Thailand between 35-40 timesand this place was just not up to standards at this price.We got a Villa which was nothing more than a good sized room. There were marks on the walls, cracks in the caulking and dried mold along the caulking in the bathroom. The room was otherwise nice, but for the price, it should have been much better appointed. Two days in a row, we were only given one beach towel because they ran out. We were told the other would be delivered first thing in the morning. The first day I chased them three times before we finally got our second towel afternoon. The second day, I had to go find housekeeping because it was not delivered.The restaurant is very mediocre. The Peace Hotel down the beach a few hundred meters has a better setting, better food and better service for half the price. Zazen is the best food on the island and is only a hundred meters the other way on the beach, but the people at the front desk won t tell you about either of these. Instead, we were directed to Poppies as the best restaurant on the island. Not only was it 300 bt each way and a 20 minute ride, but the food was like haut rather than nuevelle cuisine. It was nowhere near as good as Zazen s restaurant.
