Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: We enjoyed our stay at Poppies, the staff were warm, friendly and helpfull. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The restaurant food and staff were excellent. We would have no hesitation in recommending this resort.

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Perfect stay!! Poppies offers perfect sevice and great location, it is definately worth the money. The rooms are beautifull and set into green jungle just right at the beach, wifi is available in all rooms. The staff is absolutely friendly, we have seen a lot of luxury hotels but none did top this service. We had really bad luck with the weather, so everybody did the best to make our stay comfortable.. e.g. by free cocktails and snacks in the evening. The pool boy was very kind as well, you always get fresh towels, free drinking water (and friendly smile). Room service was excellent as well- the room was made up twice a day, everything was absolutely clean, the fruit basket was filled up twice a day as well.. a great management and service in every aspect! The location is perfect, you will find a very silent and charming resort - city life just in front of the door. We can really recommend Poppies [PhuketPortalen.dk integr.ERR:escaping]

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: I agree with those who have say that poppies is a little paradise. Frindly, smily and superefficient staff. 24 cottages scattered in a wanderful little tropical garden. A very relaxing place full of peace.I love it.

Food was amazing, cottages beautiful, and the small touches were fantastic... staff remembering specials items you wanted at breakfast, beach staff setting up your regular chair on the beach every day, and the regular treats and special notes left on the pillow every night were wonderful. Food was amazing, and the boutique style and small size of the resort was perfect! The trash on the beach was the only down side, but the staff swept regularly to try and keep up with it. Obviously this resort has mostly couples staying there, endulding in this great place, but it worked fantastic for us as well; great service, nice pools, the location by the beach and cottages. It is nice and quiet, garden beautiful and everyone helpful. Only draw back for us was the restaurant menu which is a bit pricy for a light lunch, especially with kids. Forvaltningen af reservation: We had changed the hotel after two days stay at the other hotel. Mr. Tom from PhuketPortalen.dk was very helpful in organizing everything and transferring money to the new one.
Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: The most fantastic hotel I ever stayed. Location, rooms, personnel - everything on highest level.For children perfect place to rest and to play on the seaside. Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: The Poppies is a very good and delightful experience. Very good breakfast with high servicelevel, excellent restaurant with good prices. Bungalows with high standard. Perfect location on the beach with very high service also here! We would certainly recommend Poppies and would ourselves return if possible.

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: The hotel is quite nice and the service excellent. I especially like the beachside service I was impressed. The pool area while small is a beautiful setting. The place is spotless and the rooms kept clean. However, if you are into a really nice spa you probably will be disappointed. While the therapist was good the facilities are limited. Also, the menu of services is not that great eiher. Also. like some other reviews I have read the place is a little pricey for what you get. No water view and the spa not so great for the price. This hotel also has the power automatically shut off in the room when you take out the key. For what they charge per night it would be nice to have the a/c stay on in the room. While I liked Poppies and the service was excellent I didn t see the value for the money. I stayed at a variety of hotels in the 2 months I was in Thailand. From a 400 bath a night bungalow in Koh Tao to the Peninsula in Bangkok. I just feel Poppies is overpriced for what you get. [PhuketPortalen.dk integr.ERR:escaping]
