Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Very good service and pollite staff. Extra plus for a bus into patong and back approx 5 times /day for free. Nice location between karon and kata beach but it is a few hundred meters hill up to the hotel from the main road. If you like to pay for it so is there tuk-tuk service by the hotel.We were upgraded to a one bedroom suite and it was really nice. Two ac, two tv etc. Also a kitchenette. 3 stairs and no elevator but staff take care of luggage both at arriving and departing. Whait is disturbing me and is reducing the grading is that wifi shall be so expensive at this hotel, and many others in thailand. I paid 300 bath for one day....10 years ago I stayed in bungalows for that prices per night. [PhuketPortalen.dk integr.ERR:escaping]

Forvaltningen af reservation: The booking service was excellent, with immediate notification of the reservation. The suggestion to book a car to/from the airport was very welcome (and cheap) as it s an hour from the airport, and Phuket arrivals hall is crowded with taxis touting for your business.
Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Horizon Resort is a fabulous place to stay. The staff are all unfailingly welcoming and friendly, and it s in a great location away from the crowds and only a short downhill walk to the beach. If you have difficulty with lots of stairs, recommend you ask for a room on the lower floors as there is no lift, and utilise the free tuk-tuk to and from the beach.

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Very disappointed that the hotel allowed guests to check in prior to me arriving when the booking was under my name. It s scary to think that anyone could ve checked into these rooms!This hotel looked fantastic in photos on the internet, however the rooms were a rather different story. For a 6-7 year old resort, the place is quite run-down. The rooms smell mouldy, the poorly designed bathroom ends up with puddles of water on the ground from showers, and the rooms are on the smaller side for Thailand.The swimming area, and breakfast area are lovely, however breakfast could do with some more fans or air-con. Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: This was a amazing hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was magnificent and the rooms were gorgeous. The pool area and the setting was also lovely.

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Last year when we stayed at the Horizon we were very impressed so impressed that we sent friends and family to stay but this year we were very very disappointed yes we had the best room we had the suite which was still impressive but their are all new staff which were not as friendly as last year we also visited the spa well how very disappointing last year we visited the spa a number of times during our stay this year we stayed much longer and to our dismay we only visited the spa once it was most disappointing... Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Hotel was beautiful. Excellent facilities. Loved the swimming pool. Very friendly staff who are always willing to help with a smile. Room was very spacious and neat. Resort is set in a beautiful natural surrounding with lots of trees and closer to nature unlike the concrete jungle in the city. Will definitely want to stay at Horizon Karon Beach the next time we re in Phuket. Thank you and PhuketPortalen.dk krup.

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Lovely hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. 2 adults and 2 children - suitable for everyone. Stayed in adjoining rooms and one bedroom suite. Both rooms big and clean. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast plentiful. Lots of shops/restaurants close by.

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Just returned from 11 nights at Horizon Karon beach resort which is located at the Kata end of Karon. The resort had great facilities on site but I found the rooms and bathrooms to be a little tired for it s star rating. Other than that, staff were great, food was great, the kids loved the free kids club and location was great!

We received complimentary buffet dinners,but I was suprised because of only 1 time we had buffet and next 2 times we had to choose form the menu. I have no problem with menu but agreement is a agreement.Hotel service is really good one, breakfest perfect also. I see a following points for improvements:- do not ask for a deposit 2000Bath ( you have to have a change money which you received end of your stay)- SPA is really nice one but most expensive, with the better calculation and afficiance I can imagine more people and more massages. Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: I really liked the atmosphere of this hotel, nice decent sized clean rooms, beds a bit hard but don t think thats unusual in Asia. Lovely large tropical pool area. Friendly staff who went out of their way to help especially since i was travelling on my own with a 3 year old, they made her holiday with their attention ! Yes the hotel is situated on a hill but although steep it is close to the beach & the tuk tuk service is very good till 6pm.Bars & restaurants close by. All in all excellent value for the price i paid with PhuketPortalen.dk.

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: We had a nice relaxing stay at the Horizon Karon Beach Resort and Spa.Facilities are good and we were spoilt with many choices at breakfast.The only disadavatage is the long walk up from the main road back to hotel. Anyway thanks again to the hotel staff, for the warm welcome.

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Ett väldigt fint hotell med mycket vacker och lummig trädgÃ¥rd. Rummet var kanske lite litet för 3 vuxna och 1 barn, men standarden var hög. Rummet var fint och hade en lyxigt badrum med inmurat badkar. PoolomrÃ¥det (för barnfamiljer) var underbart, poolen har en rolig form som vi tyckte var fantastisk, sÃ¥ även pool-baren. Mycket trevlig personal, som alltid hade ett leende pÃ¥ läpparna, och tog sig alltid tid för oss. Stannade gärna till och pratade med vÃ¥r dotter (...och oss). STOR frukostbuffé, med mÃ¥nga olika sortes frukostar för alla smaker. Man blev alltid väldigt mätt. Vi rekommenderar verkligen detta hotell, bra läge vid södra Karon. Även nära till Kata beach, om man vill kunna gÃ¥ till 2 olika stränder, utan att behöva ta tuktuk. Vi kommer säkerligen att Ã¥tervända till detta hotell. [PhuketPortalen.dk integr.ERR:escaping]

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: The hotel is really nice, big area, beautiful swimming pool (even not really clean), nice breakfast and big room. the hotel is on the hill and the free tuk tuk is only from 9am to 6pm (we came 3 minutes before 9 am and they said its not the time yet). in general we really enjoy staying in this hotel.... Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: We stayed here for 3 nights in mid November in a pool view room but not in the prestige/adult only section. The room itself was fine, probably could have done with a refurb, and definitely so in the bathroom. The room did smell a bit musty but we didn t bother complaining. Main criticism of the room was the appalling sound insulation. We might as well have shared the same room as the girls next door to us, we could hear virtually every word they spoke. Not hugely impressed by this at all and would put me off staying here again. It wasn t as if they were shouting either!The pools were fine, reasonable size but of course the usual problems with people hogging the sunbeds. There was a note in our room warning us not to reserve beds by putting towels on them which impressed me until I saw a whole family put their crocs on the sunbeds instead! What is it with these people?The breakfast was fine, more than enough to choose from but we are generally quite happy with fresh fruit and toast.I don t think I would rush back to stay at this hotel, I think for what we paid it could have been better. The location up the hill wasn t an issue at all for us. It is steep so i suppose if you are unfit or have a young family it is tough.[PhuketPortalen.dk integr.ERR:escaping]

Andre bemærkninger om hotellet: Lovely hotel and staff team,nice pool areas, good breakfasts,we had a superior pool view and this was definitely one of the best rooms great for 2 adults and 2 kids, also drop in kids club was very good.The friendly staff at this hotel definitely helped make our holiday.
